Fall is a perfect time to explore the scenic trails, parks, and neighborhoods in Liberty, Missouri, with the vibrant fall leaves enhancing every outdoor experience. The city's amenities offer a mix of walking trails, natural beauty, and peaceful settings to enjoy the crisp air and changing leaves.

City Parks

Liberty’s parks provide a perfect escape for anyone looking to experience the beauty of fall without venturing too far from town. With a variety of trails, both paved and natural, these parks offer something for every type of walker. Whether you want to take in the changing leaves, explore more rugged paths, or enjoy a relaxed stroll by a pond, Liberty's parks deliver a mix of scenic routes and peaceful settings to fully embrace the crisp autumn air.

A standout spot is Stocksdale Park, which spans 112 acres and offers something for everyone. With a blend of natural prairie and forest conservation areas, it has both a 1/2 mile paved trail and 1 mile natural trail that visitors can enjoy. In addition, the 7-mile mountain bike trail is ideal for a more rugged experience. Stocksdale also has a brand new playground for the kiddos to enjoy and a dog park for your furry companions.

For those looking for a more leisurely stroll, Bennett Park offers a playground, tennis courts, and a paved trail. The open spaces are great for a peaceful walk while soaking in the fall colors. Additionally, Westboro/Canterbury Park features a 2-mile asphalt trail that is frequently used by locals for an easy, picturesque walk among the trees.
