Many shops will have games set up both inside their stores and on the sidewalks. You can shop late until 8 p.m. and enjoy the festive atmosphere.

Stop at each participating downtown Liberty business to collect the free block patterns and finishing instructions. During the Quilt Walk, you'll be treated to an array of quilts on display including vintage quilts, multi-generational quilts, modern quilts and more.

William Jewell College, founded in 1849, has picturesque buildings and a long history. Join William Jewell alums Juarenne Hester and David Fulk for a tour around the Quad.

Join the Historic Downtown Liberty, Inc. for the August First Thursday and fla-mingling around downtown Liberty. Shop late until 8 p.m. at over 20 diverse shops and boutiques. Enjoy a delicious dinner, grab a drink and even enter to win a $100 gift card by scanning the QR codes in the shops. Bring your friends and family for a fun night out in our charming historic downtown.

| Saturday, Aug. 16Splash BashIt’s time to make a splash and say good-bye to summer! Join Liberty Parks & Rec at City Park for the third annual Splash Bash. Wear your swimsuits, bring your beach towels and don’t forget the sunscreen because it’s about to be a summer whirlwind at the sprayground. There will be FREE Kona Ice set up in the parking lot, water-proof temporary spray tattoos and a wild bubble party! It's the best way to wave good bye to summer and live it up before schools starts!
